This is a picture of a governess and a boy who cries in a lush garden, with a theme of eternity.Use a limited color palette.
Using a predominantly complementary color scheme, show a character in a mood of nervousness. Experiment with the amount, angle, harshness, origin, source, or color of the lighting.
Using a predominantly purple color scheme, show a bishounen (beautiful boy) in a mood of rejection. Listen to a style of music that you usually don't listen to while creating.
Using grey colors, evoke a sense of disgust and place the subject in Venice.
